The Products in Detail
Overview
The very attractive looking, discreet, lipstick-like design of this device makes it perfect for slipping into your purse for quick, touch-up hair removal on the go.
It is available in three, pretty, feminine pastel shades; Sea Glass, Blush and Lavender, as well as black or white.
The working parts and trim are 18K rose gold plated, which I feel gives the overall impression of quality and luxury.
I quite like that the Finishing Touch Flawless is conveniently powered by a standard, easily purchased replaceable AA battery, one of which is included in the online price of just under $20.
However, if you prefer, there is now a rechargeable version available for a few extra dollars.
Where Can it be Used?
The Flawless hair remover is for ladies facial use, and can be used regularly and frequently (daily) without causing irritation.
The hypoallergenic gold plate makes it suitable for even very sensitive skin.
There is an inbuilt light which is great for showing up any fine, hard to see hairs that you may have missed.
How to Use
The device could not be more simple to use - just turn it on using the switch on the side and the light illumates automatically.
Then press the head flat against the skin and gently move across the area in a continuous circular direction to remove the hair.
It may become slightly warm with use, but don't worry, apparently this is quite normal.
You can open the unit to change the battery by holding the gold part at the top in one hand and the bottom in the other and then gently pulling apart.
There is a brush included with the product to brush clean the head after each use.
Replacement heads are available to buy separately, and it is recommended that these are changed every 3 - 6 months.
Basically, the head just twists off like a screw-cap and for the new one to be screwed in.
How does it Work?
The Finishing Touch Flawless is essentially a single head rotary shaver, and works in a similar way to a man's rotary shaver.
It has a spinning blade just below the gold plated guard that cuts the hair at the skin's surface.
How Effective is it?
I think the answer to this is largely dependent on what you want from the product.
It is, after all, a shaver so obviously you will almost certainly need to use it very frequently to keep your skin smooth and hair-free.
I would say that if your hair is relatively sparse, light or fine in the first place e.g. peach fuzz or light upper lip say, this is a great product for daily use to simply, quickly and painlessly remove it.
If the hair is thicker, coarser or very dark, then shaving can be problematic and methods such as epilating or waxing that remove hair from the root might be preferable to avoid a "shadow" look.

Overview
Finishing Touch Flawless Legs is an attractive, pink and white 4-bladed rotary shaver for ladies.
It has a neat, ergonomic design, fitting into the palm for easy maneuverability and control and, as with the facial hair remover, has hypoallergenic 18K gold plating on its floating heads.
Whilst the white part is smooth plastic, the pink area has a slightly rubbery feel for a good grip.
The device is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery battery for cordless, dry use.
It comes with a USB charging cord and adaptor, a drawstring storage pouch and cleaning brush for cleaning the head after use, all for around $60.
Where Can it be Used?
This device is specifically designed for use anywhere on the legs.
Whilst there is no real reason why it could not be used on the face, it think it would be cumbersome for such small areas, and lacks the precision of the facial hair remover.
Personally I would not use it on my underarms, or even bikini line, where the skin is tender and looser than that on the legs and more likely to be irritated.
However, due to the fact that the 4 rotary heads are "floating" individually, it is great for properly following the contours of your legs, especially around the ankles and knees, which can be tricky.
It also has inbuilt LED lights to ensure that you don't miss any hard to see hairs.
How to Use
The Flawless legs is very simple to use - just charge, turn on and go.
It is for dry use only, so no need for shaving products, and works best if used in a circular motion, with a very small amount of pressure on the skin.
You will need to clean out the head after each use with the brush provided. The head is removed by simply pulling away the white plastic part from the gold part.
It is then easy to brush out the debris and snap back on.
Tip: I actually found that a soft, small headed toothbrush was easier and more efficient to use for this than the brush provided.
It is recommended that the shaving head is replaced every 3 - 6 months.
How Effective is it?
Follows the contours of the legs
As a rotary shaver, the flawless legs will not give the close shave of a razor blade.
However, it is very convenient, quick and easy to use and will give pretty good results, especially if your hair is not too dark.
The best thing about it for a lily-liver like me is that, unlike waxing or epilating, it is pain-free.
I have naturally fair hair and skin, and would be happy enough with the results to use this shaver as part of my regular routine.
I might choose a depilatory cream though, if I was off on holiday and didn't want to be bothered with every day shaving.

What we Didn't Like
- Results - you will have to shave regularly to keep hair at bay - may not be as good for thick, darker hair
- Closeness - will not give as close a shave as a razor
- Limited - recommended for legs, not for smaller or very sensitive areas
Overview
Similar in looks and finish to the Flawless Facial Hair remover, the Flawless Brows is longer and thinner, rather like a mascara. It has a much smaller precision tip, with built in light, for working around the brows.
Included with your purchase is one standard AAA battery and a cleaning brush.
Available in blush pink or white with the usual rose gold 18K plate tip and trim, it is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.
Although it claims to negate the need for tweezers, it is essentially a maintenance tool and not suitable for actually shaping the brows.
The main advantages are that it is painless to use and you don't need to wait for the hair to grow long enough to tweeze or wax, as it is simply a tiny shaver.
A neat little device, available online for around $25.
Where Can it be Used?
As the name suggests, the device is specifically designed to be used above, below and between the brows to maintain clean lines between your usual waxing or threading treatments.
That said, I would think it could be used for any area of the face where you have a few fine hairs and precision is needed.
How to Use
The Flawless Brows needs to be used on clean, dry skin which is free of make-up.
Hold it like a pen at approximately 90° to the skin and hold the skin taut with your spare hand.
Using light pressure and very small circular movements, shave the hair above and below the brow line to tidy it up.
How Effective is it?
It essentially "does what it says on the tin" in that it will tidy up stray hairs to keep the brow line crisp.
However, it is a shaver and therefore will need to be used very regularly, and what it will not do is actually shape or trim the brows.
Therefore, the main advantage is that it is pain-free and quick in comparison to tweezing, but the result will not last as long.
Personally, I see it as a really great item for use on holiday or on the go for discreet, convenient brow maintenance.
What we Liked
