Gigi Hair Removal Cream is an excellent hair removal cream that comes in formats for the face and for the body. As an alternative to shaving, Gigi Hair Removal Cream removes unwanted hair within 8 minutes and leaves skin hairless for up to 5 days. The cream works on regular and sensitive skin, and with its cooling cucumber and aloe vera, leaves skin feeling refreshed after application.

How it works
Gigi Hair Removal Lotion is applied in a thick layer to the area where you would like to remove the hair. Lotion is not to be rubbed in, just applied thickly.
After 5 minutes check to see if hair comes off easily, if it does remove the rest of the lotion. If it does not, leave it on a little longer, but no longer than 8 minutes in total.
The lotion should be wiped off with a washcloth, and the area rinsed with water and patted dry. The lotion dissolves hair to leave the skin hair free. Regrowth can be delayed by up to 5 days.
Gigi has created separate lotions for the face and for the body. It is not advised to use the body lotion on the more sensitive facial skin, and it is also not advised to use the facial lotion on the body as it may not be as effective as it should be.
Possible side effects
It is recommended to do a trial skin test 24 hours before using the product to make sure no allergies or irritations appear.
Possible side effects include: dry skin, irritations, stinging sensations, rashes and (very rare) chemical burns. It is important to follow the product application guidelines and to remain within the application time limit to avoid burns.
Do not use if burns or irritations are experienced after the trial skin test. The lotion should not be used on broken or irritated skin, or less than 24 hours after prolonged sun exposure or tanning. The lotion should also not be used on moles or directly on the genital area.
Is it effective?
Gigi Hair Removal Lotion is very effective, even on coarser hair. It’s a great alternative to shaving, especially if you are prone to razor bumps or ingrown hairs.
It can be used on sensitive skin and regrowth may not happen for up to 5 days.

Personal experience
I applied Gigi Hair Removal Lotion to my legs and left it for the maximum time of 8 minutes. It removed all of my unwanted hair and didn’t start growing back until more than 3 days later! The only thing I didn’t like was that the smell was a little off-putting.
